Otavo (“we,” “us”) is a pre-launch non-alcoholic beer brand. This website lets you join a waitlist so we can tell you when we launch. We’re not selling anything here and we don’t take payments. This policy explains what little information we collect and how we handle it.
Information you give us. When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address. If you vote on a flavor or send us a message, we collect that too. That’s it — we don’t ask for your name, payment details, or anything sensitive.
Information collected automatically. Like most sites, our host and any privacy-friendly analytics we use may record basic, non-identifying data — pages viewed, rough device/browser type, and approximate region — to understand interest and keep the site working. We don’t use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. (Our fonts load from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address as part of serving them.)
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information.
Only the service providers we use to run the waitlist, and only so they can perform that service for us: our email/form provider, our website host, and any analytics provider. They process data on our behalf and aren’t permitted to use it for their own purposes. We may also disclose information if required by law.
We keep cookies to a minimum — just what’s needed for the site to function and, if enabled, lightweight analytics. We don’t run ad-tech or behavioral tracking. You can block or delete cookies anytime in your browser settings.
We keep your email until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it — or until we decide not to move forward with the launch, at which point we’ll delete the waitlist.
This site concerns a non-alcoholic beer and is intended for adults of legal drinking age in their location. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
We use reasonable measures to protect the limited information we collect. That said, no method of transmission or storage is ever 100% secure.
We may update this policy as the project evolves. When we do, we’ll change the “last updated” date above.
